Pretty yummy place! Fun vibes and the chicken was good! Lots of flavors to choose from. The mashed potatoes were excellent and so were the cheesy grits. The hush puppies are good and weirdly have the oniony flavor outside in the sauce that comes with it. But good! I'd go back.

What a delicious experience! Four of us stopped in early on a Saturday evening. Luckily we got a spot at the bar, but we're told it's always packed so reservations are recommended. The place is super cute, clean, good vibes. Service is not super fast but they sure are friendly which totally makes up for it. White peach sangria was fab, highly recommend. The bao bun appetizer was fantastic. We were all super happy with our main dishes as well. Chicken is phenomenal, Nashville hot sure lives up to its name. The blue cheese is out of this world. We will definitely be back (with reservations of course)!

Everything was great-We ordered 10 different items and loved everything. My faves were the OG chicken sandwich, hush puppies and creamed corn! We ordered take out and as we were walking in to get it the hostess was checking to make sure it was correct. When she noticed a sauce missing, she quickly went into the kitchen to retrieve it-much appreciated!

My wife and I tried Honeybird during East Providence's first Restaurant Week. Honeybird's special was their chicken bucket, which comes with Texas Toast (which didn't impress us-we each took one bite), and 4 sides. It's typically $48, but it was half price, so a great deal. Spoiler alert-we didn't come close to finishing it. This easily feeds a family of four. We only each had one drumstick each (they're huge), and maybe 70% of the sides, and we were FULL! If we'd eaten more chicken, there would have been plenty of sides (and chicken) for two more people. We went early on a weekday, so it was still pretty empty, so service was great. The chicken and sides were excellent, served hot and tasty. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken. It was nice and crispy. The flavor was good, but I didn't really get any heat. I'd say there was a hint of spiciness. Maybe I could have ordered it with more spice, but having been our first time, I wouldn't have known. In Nashville, all the chicken places I visited asked you to specify your spice level. Anyway, not a big deal, but if you're a spicy lover-ask them to kick up the heat. We got the HB sauce, and it was excellent. It would have been cool if the menu, or server, specified that you could order a variety of sauces, since they brought us a few cups of the one we chose. I'll be back.

This is going to be the most Rhode Island thing to say... we crossed the bridge for a beer tasting just down the street from Honeybird so we decided to pop in to try it & let rush hour traffic settle down. They had hubby at boiled peanuts! Potlicker collard greens were delicious & the chicken sando was outstanding! Hot Nashville dip for the meat was nice & spicy, the sauces on the side were perfect. Our server was delightful & our dining neighbors tried our peanuts in return for a bite of their fried ochra. So fun! NOM NOM NOM #YUM

Wow, so good! The food was absolutely amazing. The menu isn't huge but there are still some really great options. The boneless tenders are enormous. I only got 2 and I still could only eat 1 after eating appetizers but they were great the next day. The parking isn't great, unless there's some unmarked parking somewhere else but we got there right before the crush so we were fine. Service was good but on the slow side. I don't mind hanging out but there was a lot of sitting around and waiting. Either way, I'm sure I'll be back - I really enjoyed the whole experience!

Dinner was great! None of us really like chicken on the bone that much so we each got orders of tenders and a bunch of sides to split. We also got the pickle cheddar spring rolls which were so good! I got 4 tenders (and then ate about half and ate the rest the next day for lunch). I tried plain (OG), spicy, and honey cholula. I liked them all tbh, I feel like the OG was perfect for satisfying that classic fried chicken craving but the sauced ones were also really good. We got the cornbread (outrageous), sweet potato tater tots (perfection), mashed potatoes and baked beans (also good but the first two were my faves). We all loved it and said we would definitely go back. To drink I tried the white peach sangria and regretfully forgot to eat my moonshine-soaked peach garnish at the end. Now that's all I can think about so I will DEF have to go back and get that drink and eat the peach. The parking situation isn't great. There are only about 5 actual parking spots, but people just make more unofficial spots in the small lot and park on the side street next to the restaurant. I do wish they would draw out a few more spots in the lot since there is enough room for them. But given their popularity there will still end up being lots of people who have to park on the street.

Thought we'd try someplace completely new and different, and this place did NOT disappoint. We saw it on TV early this morning, and just said, What the heck, let's do it! The Honey Cholula sauce I have to say is REALLY good!! Great vibe, terrific staff and delicious food, so glad we tried it!

Chicken tenders are huge, i definitely could have just gotten the two! But they ended good as left overs too!! Feel free to ask the wait staff about the sauce and flavors as they might not be what you think and they are even happy to combine and go off menu! Everyone was friendly and food was good! Nice and loud so you don't have to whisper! We will 110% be back!

Note that few RI restaurants specialize in chicken (exclude Popeye's and KFC) but this one is a winner. I am going to whine a bit about a few specifics but my review is RECOMMENDED. We unwisely did not make reservations on a Friday night but somehow a table for 2 opened within 15 minutes. A number of folks (tables of 4) were told "1 hour+" and left. So tip one - reserve. The easy positives - a very good crew, lots of parking next door, and a cozy spot (feels good but a bit tight with seating for about 50 in what appears to be a small space). The menu headings - "snacks", "appetizers", and "chicken". The first two have a lot of options. We opted for the hush puppies from "snacks" - good size portion (enough to split) and tasty. My quibble was the onion butter that overwhelmed the dish; salted butter would have worked better. Also as the "chicken" portions are large, think it would be hard to manage an "appetizer" as they appear to be "entrees". We started out with cocktails - that menu is strong. Having lived in TX for many years where the whole Topo Chico and then ranch water boom started about 10 years ago, I ordered their ranch water. A real winner. "Chicken" - my dining companion ordered 4 chicken nuggets with OG "coating" and a side. VERY tasty and huge - took 2 home. I ordered the "blue plate" - a drumstick and breast - both large, tasty, and mild (although I ordered spicy). Sides were mashed potatoes (the real loser of the night - lumpy, almost "cafeteria" quality) and the potato salad (needed a bit more pepper or hot sauce). My final quibbles - understand why one would want a sauce with nuggets or wings. But why with the blue plate? Is one going to dip a battered drumstick in blue cheese? Also the chicken came on a drenched piece of toast ("TX toast"?). They could eliminate that... OVERALL a good experience and we'll be back. Damages with tip was $90.
